Our journey started in 1996 with the vision to promote equitable and quality healthcare for the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). Today after more than two decades of eventual work, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Foundation (KPHF) stands as the premier institution in the province for initiating Public-Private-Partnerships (PPP) to support and enhance the healthcare delivery system in the province.
KPHF envisions creating a Public-Private Collaboration that will propel the meaning of excellence in healthcare to a new level. The coming days will witness a working culture at the Foundation that is characterized by inclusivity, and where all partners are provided with a conducive and business friendly working environment. This new era of partner-centered approach will be pivotal in facilitating and optimizing PPPs in the province for the delivery of primary, secondary health care, diagnostic services, hospital waste management, efficient and effective emergency services, and human resource development.
COVID-19 has shown us that universal health coverage and quality of care is essential to communities, to economies, to everyone. Dedicated to advancing the healthcare delivery system of the province, KPHF will concentrate on strong, people-centered primary health care, especially for the various marginalized segments of society, so that all citizens of the province can achieve their full potential for health and well-being across the lifespan.
At KPHF, the bedrock of strategic focus resides within inclusivity and universality. This is not a catchphrase, theme, or motto but a culture practiced daily-and this culture is in turn supported by sound public health management, leadership, and robust monitoring mechanisms, and data-based decision-making.
